Pascua Yaqui Tribe 合作伙伴hip
Pima College has held a formal partnership with the Pascua Yaqui tribe to provide education 和 educational support for over 20 years. In 2013, Pima College created a liaison position to support the agreement with the Tribe, 和 in 2021 a shared position was created to increase the direct educational services.
Pima College offers both onsite at the Pascua Yaqui Tribal location near Tucson Arizona 和 remote programming. For more information please contact the 联络官.

Pima 社区 College is embarking on a comprehensive redesign of its diversity, 股本, 和 inclusion planning by building on the PCC 多样性, 股本 和 Inclusion Plan 2017-2020 that created a framework for the DEI office 和 related initiatives. From 2020 to 2023 Pima 社区 College increased the breadth of those initiatives 和 the 资源 to the DEI Office, 和 began work with various community focus groups 和 employee 和 student advisory bodies to identify ways to exp和 和 improve on the DEI strategic plan; the feedback resulted in the redesign initiative.
多样性, 股本, 访问, 归属感, 和 justice are core concepts to Pima 社区 College’s mission, 身份, 和价值观. The redesign is a multi-year project that involves embedding DEI initiatives, 资源, 人员, 数据系统, 和 planning into all 部门 和 into the Strategic Plan. Starting in FY 2024, PCC is beginning the redesign by continuing current initiatives while evaluating what is needed to embed IDEA throughout the institution 和 into the strategic plan. The goal is to launch the structural elements by 2025 和 then include IDEA into the next strategic planning process resulting in an integrated plan.
